WE HAVE KITTENS!

We have kittens!

This told to everybody very much, I believe so. ;) But, anyway, some saw pictures from lovely kittens via Facebook, where I have profile there, but I'll update now photos here and writing at same something news with kittens. :)

Helina started to birth on Sunday, 25th of January, 1 day after the expected date of confinement. The birth was quite fast, but we had problems with the first kitten, a big male (Leevi). Leevi didn't came to out for 30 minutes and after this the foetusbag was broken so I must to pull Leevi out, I saw him tail only at start but luckily second feet came out so it was easier to pull Leevi out. Helina was very angry to me, I understand it because it was very hard birth with tawny spotted male, Leevi. Anyway, Leevi was born and he was 126g, he's really big!!

At second Tiku, a chocolate spotted male, was born, without problems, luckily. :) Tiku was 120g heavy male. After Tiku's birth, his brother, a chocolate spotted male, decided to birth as soon as possible, so Taku came to world. :) Taku's weight was 118g.

We have also a singstar - Elvis, who was born 4th. When he was born, he started to shout everytime, so it wasn't difficult to give name to tawny spotted male. ;) Elvis' weight was 119g. I thought, do I again got only males in this litter - I had lot of males in two latest litters (6 kittens - 5 males and 3 kittens- 3 males) and I was also worring didn't I got silverkitten when Jade, a beautiful ebony silver spotted female, was born. I loved with first sight! Jade was very lively when she born and tried to walking around birthbox at same when Helina tried to clean her. :) Jade was 117g when she was born. We have again a Princess with 4 males. :)

From the birth was now 1 week and 2 days and kittens are grown up very well - everybody is quite soon 300g heavies. Jade opened her eyes at first time when she was 1 week old and she's now very lovely and cute girl with small eyes. :-* The boys don't want to following the world yet, but some of these open his eyes in few days, I'm sure for it. :)

It's lovely to following how kittens will grown up in kittenbox. I can sit behind the box to watching kittens long time. Helina is also very happy mom, she take care for kittens with big heart. I was afraid how very Helina will take care about her kittens, but I was wrong - she's one of the best mom in world what I know. :) It's also funny when Helina will breastfeed kittens so she usually "bakes" her paws at same time when she feed kittens and kittens will do it, too. :)

I like very much for Jade so I'm looking for a placement home to Jade or possible of co-ownership, I would like to keep girl also in breeding, I feel she has lot of chances and she's also promising with wonderful silver colour... The litter is very balanced - everybody seems very promising and it's interesting to see what like they will be when they will grown up. :) So now, anyway, the boys are looking for home but with Jade I would like to find a placement home or ineterst for co-ownership.

We're waiting still...

for Helina's the first litter. :) Nothing isn't yet happened but hopefully something will happens soon so we can to sleep peacefully at night. :) Helina is quite big now and Jukka and me were amazing how much kittens are coming in near time - hopefully not so big litter because we usually got big litters if we'll remember our history of breeding since 2005; 4, 6, 4, 7, 4, 6 and 4 kittens with 7 litters. It's also quite funny every second litter has 4 kittens. :)

Iceman took him place in our home with big heart, he's so heartbreaker. Everyone cannot to be love with Iceman when meet him. Him temperature is so great, he's very open, playing, loves peoples so much and likes also to show it, especially now Jukka is him favorite people, enjoys very much to be in Jukka's lap - maybe I should be jealous? ;) Helina also thinks Iceman is her "baby" - she must to following what everything Iceman will do and remember to wash him often a day and sleeps usually with Iceman. In case, Iceman charmed us and our cats, too. I want to say again lot of thank to Nola Kim to Australia for this lovely boy! Now Iceman is 5 months old and he we grown up very well, he's now quite 4 kg heavy man - he's soon bigger than Danni and it is unbelievable. Iceman will show himself in cat show in Finland hopefully at April with our girls, Iceman's the register to Finnish Cat Assiociation is still incomplete, too.

I must to reform my homepage in near time when I have energy or time to do it. :) Lot of information must update also there, lot of were happened and my homepage is now quite old within old information, but I can to tell something planning what we're planning in this year to do with breeding;

At spring 2009 Iceman will meet him he first girlfriend, FIN*Silvercomet Sleeping Beauty, OCI n 24. "Belle" lives in Oulu with Pirjo Saari's family. I really waiting much for this combination - very good pedigree with good colors, because Belle is very dark and cold tawny with very good contrast & spots, she's like very much than her mom, Milli - it's possible to enlarge silverocicat's genepol in Finland with really interesting pedigree with low inbreeeding rate; http://www.pawpeds.com/db/?a=p&ids=3:762445;2:793449&g=4&p=oci&o=ajgrep . The litter will register under Pirjo Saari's breeder name but if you are interesting for this combination, let me email, I can tell more. :)

At summer we'll mate Iceman with Milli (EC Guttatus Basia Mille, OCI b 24) - this is also Milli's the lastest litter. Milli is also Belle's mom. I can to see this litter would be promising with fine qualities from both parents. End of year we'll hope also to got litter between Iceman and Danni.

One boy from our last summer's litter will be soon 10 months old, he will full 10 months old on March and after it he's ready to looking for wonderful and beautiful ocifemales. Odin is very pretty, big, lovely and wild boy. He really loves also people. He visited in cat shows - enjoys also to show to judges but he's a bit of shy, still. :) He's very promising boy.

Can I introduce - a new Europe Champion; MILLI and ICEMAN - our new handsome male from Australia!

Now we have a new Europe Champion; EC Guttatus Basia Mille! I'm so proud about Milli, she did it in Finland Winners- cat show in Jarvenpää 13.-14.12. She had been in class 3 3 years while she graduated for Europe Champion. This wonderful photo had took by Heikki Siltala; www.heikkisiltala.com . It's great when Milli is now Europe Champion - she's the lastest ocicat in Finland who got this title because FiFe has now new title to Europe Champion since 2009; Super Champion. Marjo, Milli's breeder was also in this cat show and saw when her breeding became for EC. Especially I want to say to Marjo Vormisto to cattery FIN*Guttatus; thank you for our lady, she's absolutely perfcet queen what I had never been.

We have also a new boy from Australia. He's so lovely and handsome boy, who loves to be in human's lap and purring&kisses lot of. :) He arrived to Finland on Thursday 11th of December at early morning and it didn't seems that he had very long trip from Australia to Finland - he jumped to my lap at airport and started to purring and kissing me - what a wonderful first impression! He's perfcet boy - I especially also want to say to Iceman's breeder, to Nola Kim, very much thank for this lovely boy. I see you used very excellenct in breeding - your kittens are so lovely and they really love new owners, thank you, Nola! I promise to take care very good from this lovely boy, of course. He charmed me and my boyfriend so we decidecd he will stay with us in Oulu. I called him "Poju" at start but we thought today better name to boy - Iceman. he's like Kimi Raikkonen, our Formula One hero because he's something very fast and daring. We have on evening Formula's grand prix here at our home between Iceman and Riku, of course, but Riku has quite slow "car" than Iceman has. ;) Riku really enjoys now when here has now second male whose with he can do "mannish" things. :) Iceman is now a full member of our family - the girls also love him, even our queen, Milli, likes for him now.

It's exciting to follow how big Iceman will grow up. :) He's now 4 months old.

Our princess, Helina, is again at home - finally!!! She's really big female now, I cannot believe it. She's bigger than her mom, Milli! Helina maybe feel herself now "mom" because he's now very calm and eats lot of. The DOB is 24th of January - it's nice when we'll have soon kittens again. :)

Something happy news :)

Now something news from our cattery. :)

We have a new male from Australia in week 50. :) He arrives to Finland end of this week and I really hope the trip will go without problems from Melbourne to Helsinki. The new male is a ebony silverspotted F4, Ozspots Sheelberight. He was born 14th of August. I want to say thank to Nola Kim, a breeder of Ozspots for this male, I really wait when he'll arrive to Finland, it's only some days left to DOB. :) Hopefully we can to show Sheelberight in Jyväskylä on February 2009. Sheelberight will move to Tampere to "a home of boys"", where have also my breeders; Bastin (GIP Silvercomet Break My Heart, OCI ns 24) and a cat with co-own with Jari Malkamäki, Odin (Silvercomet peter Pan, OCI n 24).

And we're waiting also kittens in end of Januray 2009. :) Helinä met her boyfriend and the mate was successful well, so I can hope with good think that we have kittens 24th of January. It's exciting to see what like kittens will born between Helinä and Elmeri (Peikkolan Aamurusko, OCI as 24) - hopefully it's coming also silver kittens. :)

Our lovely and a heart breaker, Väinö (IC Silvercomet John Wayne, OCI bs 24) was neutred yesterday. So now he can to live normally a life of neutre cat with Elina and Lego. But he has also a brother, who didn't use yet in breeding, FIN*Silvercomet Ayrton Senna, who lives in Tampere. Väinö has 2 litters - one of these was born in our cattery and the second litter was born in Vaasa with cattery of Riddle in last time; www.riddle.fi . All kittens are now reserved.

I'm going to Helsinki in week 50 also with Milli, we're going to Finnish Winner cat show and hopefully Milli got the new title there, but let's see. :) And at same I pick up our princess to home, we miss now Helinä very much, here is so quiet without Helinä. :(

All kittens moved to new home

All Danni's and Vaino's kittens are founded new homes. :( Here is now very quiet because the wild boys aren't here now, I missing now these very much, but I believe the boys give to many happy moments to new owners - hopefully. :)

I'm going to Helsinki on next weekend with Helina. We're going to cat show in Kirkkonummi for long time and after the weekend Helina will stay some weeks in Helsinki waiting for her heat. Hopefully we haven't waiting it so long time so Helina can meet a wonderful blue silver spotted male, named Peikkolan Aamurusko. It is exciting because this is the first mating to Helina and I really hope everything will go fine with this. :)

I have a new ocimale end of this year, I'll tell from a new male more in near time. :)

Btw, I and Danni send very very many kisses to Tupu to Kajaani, to Hupu to Kempele and to Lupu to Vantaa, we miss you.

Kittens on Wednesday 9 weeks old!

Kittens will full on Wednesday 9 weeks old. :) They're so cute and really wild boys!

I visited last Thursday in veterinary with kittens, all kittens got their the first vaccination and all kittens are health, also Lupu is health, he hasn't flat in him chest, and I'm really happy for it! :)

Only Hupu, a light chocolate silver spotted male, is reserved now, but Tupu, a dark chocolate silver spotted male, and Lupu, a chocolate spotted male, are looking still a new home. The boys are looking a home, where they can live full of member of family, but if the new owners are intersting to visit in cat shows also, it's only plus. :-)

Now I'm waiting a book of register with this litter, but the boys got their names with Scandinavian Mythology's gods;

greetings from Oulu for long time

Now I've time to writing my blog for long time, huoah! :-/ All Milli's kittens left us last week, they moved to around Finland and I hope they will charm their new owners and I'll wish many happy moments with kittens, I miss these now, but give many kisses to kittens from us! It was really rewarding to follow how they grown up for a wonderful kitten in 3 months. :-)

Now we have 3 very sweets kittens here, they will learn to eat and to using toilets in our kitchen. The boys was growing very well, weights are now between 560-640g. It is also quite quiet and easy to take care about this litter because here have only half of last litter where had 6 kittens... I was using to have always big litters but now it's lovely have just for once a small litter. :-)

Unfortunately we lost a cinnamon silver spotted from this litter a day before the birth. :-( The girl, "Bambi", was very beautiful and lively girl, but we cannot to doing with her and we must to say goodbye to Bambi. Luckily the boys were grow up normally, but Lupu, a chocolate spotted male, has a low flat in his chest. But it isn't harass with Lupu's live. Lupu is also the biggest boy from this litter and very wild, headstrong and lovely boy. :-) The silverboys are quite calm, but something Lupu will invite silverboys to fighting and I must only to laughn if I watch their fighting, the silverboys try to win Lupu but Lupu didn't succumb to silverboys. :-)

Now the boys are available, they will move to new home only for a pet, because I'll register boys with "not to breeding". The boys are ready to meet differents peoples, so if you're interesting from this litter, you are warmly welcome to our home! :-)

I am away from Oulu between 22.8.-2.9, we will travel to Prague (Czech) with Väinö to apply to local cat show, where have also Ocicat Special Show on Saturday 30.8. I'm waiting this journey hardly. :-) So don't wonder if I don't answer to emails or sms in my journey.

Pennut pian 2 kk ikäisiä :-)

ONLY FINNISH, SORRY!

Ylihuomenna vauvat täyttävät 2 kk. Tänään käytiin Lääkäritädin luona Lemmikissä ja pennut saivat rokotukset. Ainoastaan Peter Panille ilmestyi ylähengitysinfektio, minkä takia tämän rokotus siirtyy parilla viikolla eteenpäin ja sen myötä PeePee ei ole luovutusiässä 4.8.2008. Lääkäritäti kehui pentuja kovasti ja olivatkin kiltisti siellä, hieman rokote kirpasi kylläkin, mutta söivät siellä nameja hyvällä ruokahalulla. :-)

Danni tuli myös mukaan ultrattavaksi, masussa näkyi neljä pentuja! :-) Määrä saattaa olla kyllä enemmän kuin neljä, mutta vähintään neljä pikkuväinöjä ja -danneja on tulossa sieltä heinäkuun lopussa. :-) Danni on hupsu kun palattuaan kotiin alkoi huudella ja yrittää pistää Millin vauvoja ruotuun, mutta nämä taas riehaantuivat - ei kai niissä rokotuksissa ole mukana hieman "ylivilkkausannostusta"...:-P Onneksi ei mitään vakavampaa rokotusreaktioita tullut ilmi näille pennuille.



Rekisteröintipaperit on lähetetty Suomen Kissaliiton rotukirjaajalle ja nyt vain odotellaan, että milloin rekisterikirjat tulee postilla sieltä, mutta vauvat saivat viralliset nimet Disney- teeman mukaisesti (suluissa vauvojen tämänpäiväinen painot);

Hyvin pikkuiset ovat kasvaneet! Kaikki ovat edelleen varattavissa, päivitän kotisivulleni varaustilanteet melko heti niin, että kun olen vastaanottanut varausmaksun, jonka suuruus on 200 euroa, niin laitan pennun nimen perään "varattu" punaisella kirjaimilla. Eli jos "varattu"- sanaa ei näy, niin pennut ovat varattavissa. :-) Nämä ovat todella ihania, kietovat takuulla sormien ympärille vallottavalla luonteella!

Olen tulossa POROK:n näyttelyyn, Kempeleeseen, viikonlopuksi, mukana on lauantaina Väinö sekä Lego (Silvercomet Blue Star, OCI ns 24) ja sunnuntaiseksi on tulossa Väinön lisäksi Simba (Silvercomet James Dean, OCI b 24).

Laittelen nyt uusimmat vauvakuvia tänne, ei olekaan helppoa ottaa kuvia kun nämä ovat hereillään ja liikkeessä, joten nukkuvaa tai uneliasta pentua on paljon helpompaa kuvata ilman salamaa. ;-)
